Epoch is a mobile-first journaling app built around the science of reflective writing. The founding team had strong product instincts but no design system — components were inconsistent, spacing was arbitrary, and scaling the product was becoming painful.

We conducted a full design audit, then built a token-based design system from scratch in Figma, covering typography, color, spacing, component states, and dark mode. The system now serves as the single source of truth for both design and engineering, dramatically reducing handoff friction.
